The Nightowl Team Knows How to Party
Apparently, the Coffee Cart Team Knows How to Have Fun, Too
As I slowly take over these blogs, I’ve been going through old event photos, and let me tell you… I stumbled across the Nightowl end-of-year party and immediately thought, Okay, so THIS is what happens when the coffee catering team clocks out. And, unfortunately, I have about four months to wait until I actually get to attend one of these parties myself. FOUR. MONTHS. I’m already excited. Slightly concerned. Mostly excited.

A New York Trattoria, Nightowl Style
For their end-of-year celebration, Nightowl teamed up with Hunter Orcutt Events to transform the night into their very own New York trattoria, Italian-mafia-style for one night. Because apparently, celebrating a monumental year in coffee catering wasn’t enough. We needed Italian food, old-school New York energy, And the outfits? They did not disappoint.
The whole team showed up like they had just stepped out of a 1970s New York restaurant where everyone knows everyone and someone definitely has a suspiciously large envelope in their pocket. It was giving The Sopranos, but made it coffee catering.
“Our Best Team Ever”... Well, Almost
The party was also a celebration of what Corbin called, in a past Instagram post, “our best team ever.”I hate to call my boss out this early in my Nightowl blogging career, but technically… he was wrong. Because I wasn’t on the team yet. So, Corbin, respectfully, that was not the best team ever. But after officially joining the Nightowl team, I can confidently confirm that this one is. 😉

Coffee Catering by Day, Party Planning by Night
Looking through these photos, I completely understand why the team had so much to celebrate. It was a huge year for Nightowl, and the party perfectly captured something I’m quickly learning about this company: they work hard, care a LOT about the guest experience, and apparently know exactly how to throw a party when the espresso machines are finally turned off.
Between the Dallas-based coffee carts, espresso catering, mobile barista stations, and all the events this team pulls off, there’s clearly a lot that happens behind the scenes. But if this party is any indication, the Nightowl team knows how to celebrate the wins, too.And if this is the team culture I’m walking into, I think I’m going to fit in just fine. Now I just need these next four months to hurry up.
