Meet Solomon: Behind the Lens 📸☕

For the past year and a half, Solomon has been part of the Nightowl Coffee family, bringing his creativity, energy, and personality behind the cart. But long before coffee became part of his story, Solomon found another passion: photography.

Six years ago, his dad gave him a disposable camera and encouraged him to get outside, explore nature, and focus on landscapes. What started as a simple way to explore the world through a lens quickly became a passion that stuck with him.

Today, photography is a huge part of Solomon’s life, especially when he’s traveling and discovering new places. He loves experiencing different cities, finding something new around every corner, and capturing the people, places, and moments that make each trip memorable.

The City-Country Combo

And if there’s one thing you should know about Solomon, it’s that he might just be the biggest city boy AND country boy you’ll ever meet. 😂 His love for traveling has taken him far beyond his hometown, and his camera usually comes along for the ride. Whether he’s exploring a new city or finding a quiet landscape, he’s always looking for something worth capturing.

From Coffee Job to Coffee Career

Then came coffee...What started as a job in the coffee industry turned into a career Solomon never left. Ten years later, he’s still working in coffee and has developed a deep appreciation for the craft, the people, and the experiences that happen around a great cup of coffee. That experience has made him a natural fit for Nightowl’s world of DFW coffee catering. Whether he’s serving guests from a Dallas-based coffee cart or working an event activation, Solomon brings the same creativity and genuine connection that he brings to photography.

What Nightowl Has Done for Solomon

Now, six years into photography and ten years into coffee, Solomon has found a way to combine two things he loves most: creativity and connection.When asked what Nightowl has done for his life, Solomon said, “I think Nightowl has helped me grow, achieve my dreams, and pour into my goals.” He described Corbin as a “wind behind your sails”—someone who pushes him, supports him, and helps him get where he wants to go. That support is a big part of what makes Nightowl more than just a coffee cart service. It’s a team that encourages people to grow, chase their goals, and make something of the things they’re passionate about. One of Solomon’s favorite Nightowl experiences has been working on set with Chozen, Globe Life, and Waste Management—just another example of how coffee catering, experiential events, and brand activations can bring people together.
