Alright people—we’re pulling back the curtain.
This is Nightowl Coffee’s first-ever BTS blog, and we’re kicking it off with one of our favorite holiday activations yet: the Verizon Christmas Truck Activation.
Before we talk logistics and latte volume, let’s shout out the Verizon experiential marketing team. They understood what great brands know: coffee isn’t just a beverage—it’s a connection point. When done right, it stops foot traffic, elevates guest experience, and turns brand exposure into real human moments.

🤝 A Relationship-Driven Event Industry Win
The real story here is collaboration. I first met Matt and Hannah of Palm & Pine Photo Truck in 2022 at a Brides of North Texas (now WedSociety) event at Hotel Drover. Their mobile photo booth truck conversion was stunning and I knew their would be a partnership somewhere down the line—as we see every cart, vehicle, bar, or trailer as a potential high-powered cafffeine machine.
Fast forward to 2024, and we rented Palm & Pine's truck for Mizzen+Main's Texas tour, converting a phototruck into a high-powered mobile coffee shop. Think menswear distribution + unlimited cappuccinos across Dallas, Houston, and Austin. It was a coffee cart on steroids and our first agency-level truck activation—and it delivered.
🎄 2025: Verizon Village Goes Caffeinated
In 2025, the script was flipped. This time, Palm & Pine hired Nightowl Coffee to turn Verizon’s holiday village into a caffeine-fueled Christmas dream, proving once again how powerful long-term partnerships are in the experiential world. Here’s how it came together 👇
🎁 Step 1: The Wrap
A full Verizon holiday wrap—bold, festive, and built for maximum brand exposure.

🎁 Step 2: Transport & Staging
The truck landed on-site, and the village took shape—trees, signage, flow, and guest engagement planning.

🔋 Step 3: Coffee Shop Conversion
Power was everything. This setup required two dedicated 20-amp circuits to run dual espresso machines—a detail that separates true espresso catering from DIY setups.

☕ Step 4: Coffee Time
The fun part. Our baristas Solomon and Skylar absolutely crushed it—serving lattes, cappuccinos, and hot cocoa like Santa’s elves on double speed.

🚀 Why Resellers Trust Nightowl Coffee (And Why Partnerships Work)
This activation had two thrilled clients: Verizon, the end brand, and Palm & Pine, the experiential fleet operator. And that’s exactly where Nightowl Coffee thrives.
When DMCs, hotels, event designers, and experiential agencies bring us in, our mission is simple: make our partners look flawless. From power planning and guest flow to hospitality under pressure, our coffee cart service is built to deliver—every time.
We’ve seen firsthand how espresso catering helps brands connect with their audiences—whether it’s the Verizon Village activation or luxury brand moments like our AERIN experiential pop-up. Partners like Palm & Pine embody what this industry does best: relentless hospitality and mutual trust.
For Mizzen+Main, we sub-contracted Palm & Pine. For Verizon, Palm & Pine sub-contracted us. Different roles, same outcome—a partnership that worked exactly as it should.
